Job Description:

A fantastic opportunity to join one of the North Easts largest Ship Building / Engineering companies.

Reporting in to the Commercial Manager, you will be in the role of Contract Controls Manager, and your day to day duties would include:

- Day to day cost management of all current projects

- Ensuring that all company objectives are achieved or bettered

- Adhering to the company's working practices, policies and procedures

- Maximising the company's return on all projects

- Implementing the company and project specific terms and conditions

- Assisting the Finance Department in obtaining payment in accordance with agreed terms

- Providing and maintaining commercial support to the project

- Creating and maintaining project plans

- Providing a service to the customer on commercial and financial issues

- Maintaining and assisting with the closing out of accounts with customers, suppliers and sub contractors

You will work closely with the Project Directors, Project Managers, Purchasing Manager, Estimating Manager and the Sales & Marketing Manager.
